Richard ā a licensed life and health insurance agent, Retirement Income Certified ProfessionalĀ®, and Investment Adviser Representative ā grew up on a farm just south of Nebraska City. He attended a small, two-room country school less than a half-mile from his home through the eighth grade. In high school, he played football, basketball, and baseball, eventually playing baseball in college until an arm injury put an end to his career.
Richard entered the financial services industry in 2002. In 2012, he began to focus on individuals and couples who were nearing, entering, and living in retirement. He felt there were so many decisions folks must make when they retire, such as what to do with Social Security and Medicare, or how to take the money theyāve accumulated during their working years and turn it into a predictable income stream. Richardās holistic approach aims to help folks create a full transition plan as they enter retirement.
Richard began coaching baseball while in college. He has continued following this passion, and since 2008 has served as a volunteer coach at the youth, high school, and legion baseball levels in Auburn. Richard met his wife LeeAnn in the church he was raised in, and the pair were married in 1997. Theyāre blessed with three boys: Tyler, Kyson, and Jackson.
Tyler, Richardās first son, was raised in Auburn alongside his two brothers. He graduated from Auburn High School in 2016 and went on to earn a Computer Management degree from Peru State College. During his time there, he began studying for the Nebraska Insurance Exam and became a licensed agent in February 2018. For the last five and a half years, he has been Warner Financialās health insurance professional.
Tyler married Allyson (Reiman) Warner in May 2020 and welcomed their first daughter, Ginny, in April 2022. Tyler relishes helping people manage the healthcare side of retirement.
